Glenelg Day Surgery is a specialist centre and day surgical facility, fully accredited by the Australian Council of Healthcare Standards and a member of the Australian Private Hospitals Association. Glenelg Day Surgery was established at 4 Gordon Street, Glenelg in 1991.

Glenelg Day Surgery has a number of visiting specialist and doctors, including plastic & reconstructive surgeons and general surgeons, who consult patients and undertake surgical procedures either under Local Anaesthetic or Sedation. The day surgery has a large fully equipped operating theatre, a spacious and pleasant recovery area and a number of treatment rooms where the surgeons and our highly trained nurses provide pre and post-operative care.

 

Visiting specialists and doctors to Glenelg Day Surgery have traditionally provided a specialised service in the diagnosis and treatment of skin cancer, dermatology, cosmetic surgery and hand surgery.  

 

While this continues, new practitioners now provide a range of non-surgical cosmetic treatments including cosmetic injectibles such as dermal fillers and wrinkle treatments, laser treatments and vein treatments.
