Glenelg Day Surgery has agreements in place with all major health funds, third party providers and the Department of Veteran Affairs.
If you have private health insurance, you may be able to claim all or part of the hospital fee. Please check your policy with your health fund before admission to see if your health fund policy covers the hospital admission. Patients with private health insurance with an “excess” on their health fund policy will be required to pay this on admission.
Patients are responsible for any shortfall in reimbursement by your health fund and/or Workers Compensation gap.
Uninsured patients or those with basic health insurance are required to settle their hospital account on admission. Patients without private health cover will find Glenelg Day Surgery cost reasonable and competitive.
Glenelg Day Surgery will provide you with an Informed Financial Consent Form, detailing all out of pocket costs for your admission. You will be given the ability to review these costs before signing the financial consent for the episode, if you agree.
Credit card facilities are available including Visa, MasterCard and Bankcard.
